Training en overhandiging van menstruatie cups in Gorkha District

In 2019 we started this project because of a personal donation of a few cups from the Netherlands. 3 to give to our sponsors friends and the other we could hand over to other motivated girls.

In this project is of course Samjhana the important factor to make contact with girls and build trust to give the cup a try. But she and the girls she got together also never heard of it so they had to start and give it try. This ended up very positive. Only one of the 5 really didn’t liked it.

A year later in the end of 2019 two medical students join us for their internship. I told them about the project and we would like to take further steps but now in more remote areas. They managed to get 30 cups sponsored in the three different sizes. We decided to distribute them in 3 remote villages in the Gorkha district: Laprak, Korla and Wuyia.
